The British Fashion Council has recently announced the preliminary details for the upcoming September London Fashion Week. The event is set to take place from September 12th to 17th and will feature a mix of digital and physical components in celebration of LFW’s 40th anniversary.
Among the designers scheduled to showcase their collections are big names such as Burberry, JW Anderson, and Nensi Dojaka. New additions to the lineup include Harris Reed, Standing Ground, and Patrick McDowell, who will be joining the likes of Completedworks and Edeline Lee on the catwalk.
Mithridate will also be making its debut at the event, presenting its collection in a unique presentation format. Returning labels like Kent & Curwen, Toga, and Nensi Dojaka will also be featured, along with a host of other exciting designers including Emilia Wickstead, Erdem, and Simone Rocha.
The main venue for the event will be at 180 The Strand, where physical activations for a variety of designers will take place. Additionally, some designers will be showcasing their collections digitally, providing a diverse and inclusive platform for all participants.
While the final schedule is set to be released next month with more detailed information on each activation, it’s clear that this year’s London Fashion Week will be a celebration of London’s rich creative communities and its status as a global cultural hub.
