Goop, the wellness retailer founded by Gwyneth Paltrow, has recently opened its sixth store in Marin County. The new 1,300-square-foot space at the Marin Country Mart was designed by the Orange County–based ViaClover design firm, drawing inspiration from Goop’s sophisticated style and the natural beauty of Marin.
One of the standout features of the store is a light installation by the Melbourne-based Volker Haug Studio, known for their decorative lighting. The floors are made of Vienna oak from Stuga Studio, complemented by a checkered pattern of artisan-crafted tiles from Zia Tile in Los Angeles. The fitting rooms are adorned in chinoiserie, a special collaboration between Goop and Fromental that captures the essence of Northern California. Exclusive art by Fromental, created in partnership with Paltrow, is also available for purchase in the store.
In addition to the beautiful design elements, the new Marin store will offer the full range of Goop beauty products, as well as a selection of G. Label by Goop fashion items. Customers can also enjoy a functional treatment room and explore a curated collection of multi-brand beauty, fashion, fine jewelry, homewares, and wellness products.
A unique feature of the Marin store is the active facial room, where guests can book appointments for in-store beauty services with a Goop-approved licensed aesthetician. Visitors can try out the range of Goop Beauty products, such as the Microderm Instant Glow Exfoliator, All-in-One Super Nutrient Face Oil, and Youth-Boost Peptide Serum, among others.
The opening of the new store in Marin is part of Goop’s continued expansion in the retail space, with consistent revenue growth year over year. According to Matthew Blythe, senior director of retail operations and development, the selection of the Marin Country Mart as the new location was intentional, reflecting Goop’s commitment to quality, community, and well-being.
