In the picture, the king is seen wearing a leafy green and red lei and stylish clear shades, adding a fun touch to his outfit that included a silky beige suit, pinstripe blue and white shirt, a patterned baby blue and pink tie, and a matching polka-dot pocket square. The post was captioned with a heartfelt message, “Wishing a very Happy Birthday to His Majesty The King!”

Despite the festivities, King Charles III is spending his birthday doing what he loves most – working. He is dedicating the day to opening two food distribution hubs as part of the Coronation Food Project, a initiative he launched a year ago to address food waste and food insecurity in the UK.
One of the hubs, located in south London, is hosting its first “surplus food festival” where meals made from food that would have otherwise been wasted will be provided to those in need. The second hub, situated in Merseyside, northwest England, will have its opening ceremony attended by Charles virtually.
